Who we are
ADP Black Car is a private chauffeur and courier service based in Clinton, Massachusetts, operated as a licensed livery business. These Terms govern every ride and delivery you book with us, by phone, text, or through our website or app.
The service
We provide point-to-point private transportation and small-package delivery using a single vehicle and driver. We are not a taxi company, a rideshare marketplace, or a common carrier open to walk-up passengers — every trip is booked in advance.
Bookings and fares
The fare shown before you confirm a booking is the fare you pay, calculated from the distance, time, trip type and any fixed-rate routes (such as Logan Airport transfers). Fares can change if you change the pickup, drop-off, date or time after booking, and we'll always show the new price before it's charged.
Payment authorization
When you confirm a booking, we place a temporary hold (a pre-authorization) on your card for the estimated fare. This is not a charge — it simply reserves the funds. The hold is captured as an actual charge only after your ride or delivery is completed. If you cancel within our Cancellation Policy window, the hold is released instead of captured. Depending on your bank, a released hold can take a few business days to disappear from your available balance.
Cancellations and no-shows
Cancellation refunds follow our Cancellation Policy, published separately and linked from every booking confirmation. A no-show — you're not at the pickup location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time and don't answer our call or text — is treated as a same-day cancellation.
Conduct and safety
We can decline or end a trip if a passenger's behavior is unsafe, abusive, or illegal, without a refund. Please don't ask your driver to exceed the speed limit, drive under unsafe conditions, or transport anything illegal.
Belongings and liability
Please check the vehicle for personal items before you leave; we're not responsible for items left behind, though we'll always try to return them. We're not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or other events outside our control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service grows. The date at the top always shows the latest version, and continuing to book rides after a change means you accept the update.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
